Introduction: Summer 2023

Hello Everyone, 

My name is Sarissa and I am a junior here at UAF. I am studying Physics and Marine Biology, hoping to get into Astronomy and Astrophysics as well. I don’t have much knowledge about photography other than I enjoy photographing life and nature. I hope to get into Astrophotography as well as marine photography later in my career. I am taking this course to learn about the fundamentals of how my camera works (one that I haven’t used in a while), and apply this knowledge in my photography work. 

The image I have decided to share is of my own. I really liked the picture because of the depth and texture that was visible.
