Hello everyone!

My name is Aileen and I am from a remote community named Iliamna. I attend Newhalen High School and participate in several sports. Some of my hobbies include reading, being outside, traveling, and exercise.

I do not have much background in photography. I have done some editing and took some photos of my school’s activities. I am taking this class in hopes of being able to take photos for my school to use in a year book and so that my community could have someone available and experienced in photography for senior, engagement, and other photo worthy moments. I also just think this would be very enjoyable and expand my skill set. 

The photo I have attached is an image of bears at Brooks falls in Katmai National Park. I think this image works well because it is not overly edited but is still bright and clear despite the gloomy weather.
