Unit 2 Depth of Field

Birch trees-This set of photos I took on a walk in Creamer’s field. I love how the moss clears up in the first photo. Left Photo: ISO 3200, f/20, 1/200. Right Photo: ISO 400, f/9, 1/200.

This second pair of photos is of my shoes above a pond (though the water is hard to see). I moved my foot and the camera so it isn’t an exact replica. The photos are a little grainy. Left Photo: ISO 12800, f/10, 1/4000. Right Photo:  ISO 12800, f/4.5, 1/4000.

This pair of photos is of my dad.  I was having a difficult time focusing on my dad’s eye it wasn’t until later I realized I missed the eye and focused on the ear (oops!).  This pair still does a good job showing DoF. I like how the second one shows the details of the skin. Left Photo: ISO 1600, f/ 4.8, shutter 1/4000. Right Photo: ISO 800 (w/flash), f/16, shutter 1/4000.
