First Contact Assignment

Hello, my name is Hally. I was born and raised here in Fairbanks, and I am in the final year of my bachelor’s degree. Since I was a child I have loved photography, I would play with any camera I could find, until I finally got a canon for Christmas a few years back, it is a rebel t6 so it is a very beginner-friendly camera, and I am taking this class to learn more about it. 
I took this photo on a kid’s camera I bought online, I read that it gave photos the vintage feel that we are missing from high-quality shots, and so I ordered it and took it on my vacation this summer. The picture works for me because it seems so simple, yet the time and date stamped show there is a purpose for this photo, and why I wanted to capture it, I like the feel of these photos.
