Crawford – Introduction

Hello!  My name is Justin Crawford.  My interests in photography include wildlife, landscape, night, and photographing sled dogs.  I’ve been taking photos with a DSLR for years but have not taken a photography class. I’m taking this course to get a better understanding of photography fundamentals.

I took this photo of my cousin taking a dog team on a short run.  I like the composition and that I have the focus on the musher.  However, I think I used too short a depth of field because the lead dogs are not well focused (f8.0, 1/320s, IS 4000, 80-200 lens).

I’m looking forward to learning something new in this class and seeing everyone’s photography!
